Did you know that the oldest known food and drinks pairing in the world is Gin & Gingerbread? This harks back to the Frost Fairs of the 18th and 19th century where market traders would sell you a gingerbread biscuit and a hot gin tipple. This sour, is an altogether more modern affair.

Ingredients
  • 2 parts Sipsmith London Dry Gin
  • 1 part Lemon Juice
  • 1 part Gingerbread Syrup
  • Egg white
  • 1 dash Orange Bitters
  • Fresh Ginger to garnish
INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Add all ingredients to a cocktail shaker and dry shake
  2. Add ice and shake again
  3. Double strain into a chilled glass
  4. Garnish with slices of fresh ginger
