Title: Field Marketing Manager (Brand Experience Focus)

Reporting to: Brand Experience Lead

Based: Sipsmith Distillery London 40%, In Field 60%

Profile: This a role for who wants to get stuck in and make things their own. Responsible for spearheading planning, execution and on site delivery of Sipsmith Brand Experiences you are a critical lynchpin in growing the business and brand.

A knock out field marketing plan, superbly executed, delivered to objective, with a happy and thriving team to deliver it.

Key Responsibilities:

Working with the Brand Experience Lead in creation of annual Sipsmith Brand Experience and Field Marketing plan in line with overall business and brand objectives

Seeking out the most impactful opportunities to drive our distinctiveness and the concepts to make that happen, from sampling to consumer events.

Responsible for the on-the-ground delivery of the plan: this may not mean that you are personally there for every moment of every activation (as you’ll be expected to manage your energy and time in the most productive way) but making sure that there’s a plan and team in place is your ultimate responsibility

Ensuring smooth daily management of event organisation and that everything is on track ahead of every experience delivered, including resourcing.
Making it happen on the day. Responsible for on-site implementation of events plan; ensuring that all plans are smoothly and impeccably executed by team. Including:

Set Up/Pack Down
Optimising event impact, and managing on-site issues
Rallying team onsite to achieve event KPIs
Post event reporting

Leading reporting and analysis on return on investment for each activation:

Identifying and implementing opportunities for adaptation and improvement, feeding this back to Head of Brand Experience and ensuring any agreed changes are actioned going forward

Working directly with On Trade and Off Trade teams to ensure that all activity is creatively and effectively delivered

Key Skills:

Clear communicator who is supremely organised and delightful to be around
Highly personable team player and leader: energetic, positive, and a great energising leader
Loves delivering amazing experiences: able to manage a fast paced work environment and all the ups and downs that go into delivering a phenomenal result
Ability to manage their time well, knowing when to step up and when to take important recharge time, and enable your team do the same
Has good instinct and creative flair for creating Sipsmith sipping experiences that reflect our philosophy and quality
Graceful under pressure, with an eye for opportunities and solutions.
Previous Field Marketing or Events experience required
Must love gin (you’ll be sipping a lot of it).
