A twist on last year’s release with the 2021 harvest of real Wimbledon strawberries, there is simply no better way to celebrate The Championships than with a delightfully summery Strawberry Smash Spritz.
A SMASHING RETURN
Perfect in a range of summery cocktails, this year’s Strawberry Smash Gin was crafted in celebration of our second year as Official Gin Partner of Wimbledon. Grown with the 2021 harvest of strawberries from Hugh Lowe Farms, exclusive strawberry grower for Wimbledon, with the addition of English hint and a selection of the finest botanicals to bring this sensational gin to life.
STRAWBERRY SMASH SPRITZ: A WINNING SERVE
The taste of The Championships, sipped from a spritz glass with the finest ingredients, for a winning serve.
- 50ml Sipsmith Strawberry Smash Gin
- 25ml freshly squeezed lemon juice
- 50ml chilled soda water
- chilled prosecco, to top
- Freshly sliced strawberries, to garnish
- Lime peel twist, to garnish
Simple to make in a glass, simply fill a spritz glass or large wine glass with cubed ice, then add the first three ingredients, combine with a swan stirrer and top with chilled prosecco. This serve doesn’t need sugar syrup due to the naturally sweeter presence of prosecco. If using a drier sparkling wine, you may wish to add 10ml of sugar syrup to combat the dryness of the wine. Take your time to perfect your serve.
