Nothing says summer like Strawberries & Cream. Make the most of our seasonal gin liqueur with these five decadent, summery gin cocktails.

Few things are more appropriate for July sipping than our Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur. Inspired by Wimbledon’s classic courtside snack, the distillation was first dreamed up as part of our Sipping Society last year. Now, it’s back for a limited time this summer, so don’t wait until it’s too late to give this indulgent serve a sample.

Though it’s delectable enough to enjoy on its own, Strawberries & Cream also makes a brilliant turn in a range of summery gin cocktails. We’re spotlighting five recipes below, which were tailor-made for hot weather (and Wimbledon-watching parties).

Strawberry Sour

To make your sours that little bit sweeter, slosh in our Strawberries & Cream for a deliciously indulgent twist.

40ml Sipsmith Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur

20ml freshly squeezed lime juice

15ml sugar syrup

1 egg white

Lime twist, to garnish

Add all ingredients to an empty cocktail shaker and shake well. Open the shaker, fill with crushed ice, and shake again. Double strain into a chilled coupette glass, and garnish with a lime twist.

Strawberry and Elderflower G&T

Strawberries and elderflower are a classic summertime pairing, and in this floral G&T, they work beautifully in tandem.

50ml Sipsmith Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur

Fever-Tree Elderflower Tonic

Fresh strawberries and black pepper, to garnish

Fill a highball glass up to the brim with very cold ice. Add both ingredients and stir gently to mix. Garnish with fresh strawberries and a crack of black pepper.

Strawberry Gimlet

Citrusy, fruit-forward, and refreshing: a Gimlet dosed with Strawberries & Cream is one of our favourite summery gin cocktails.

50ml Sipsmith Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur

12ml freshly squeezed lime juice

12ml sugar syrup

Lime twist, to garnish

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice, add all ingredients, and shake well. Strain into a chilled Martini glass, and garnish with a lime twist.

Wimbledon Collins

Seeking the perfect serve to toast your favourite player? Enter the Wimbledon Collins (which can only be improved by a bowl of strawberries and cream on the side).

45ml Sipsmith Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur

20ml freshly squeezed lime juice

Soda

Strawberries, to garnish

Fill a highball glass full of ice and add the first two ingredients, stirring to combine. Top up with soda, stir once or twice, and garnish with strawberries.

Strawberry Fizz

Though it’s made with just two ingredients, a Strawberry Fizz is the summery gin cocktail to try this year.

25ml Sipsmith Strawberries & Cream Gin Liqueur

Champagne or Prosecco

Add Strawberries & Cream to a flute. Top up with Champagne or Prosecco.
