We’re proud to be part of Loop; a groundbreaking reuse platform in partnership with Tesco.
WHAT IS LOOP?
Loop is a global platform for reuse. Collaborating with brands and manufacturers to enable refillable versions of their conventional single-use products, Loop has partnered with leading retailers to embed these offerings into their online eCommerce and physical retail stores. We’re proud to support their partnership with Tesco.
Our 70cl London Dry Gin is now available in 13 Tesco stores*, so gin lovers will now be able to enjoy Sipsmith in reusuable, durable packaging. Once empty, the bottles can be returned to be professionally cleaned and refilled with delicious hand crafted Sipsmith gin again and again – making the future of London Dry Gin sipping wasteless. Our bottles, including new labels and a clear shrink capsule instead of wax, ensure the bottle can be returned. Find out more below.
HOW DOES IT WORK?
1. BUY YOUR BOTTLE
Head to one of 13 participating Tesco stores* to buy your bottle. The RRP includes a £1 refundable deposit which you will receive back when you return the bottle.
2. RETURN YOUR BOTTLE
Once you have sipped all of your gin, simply head to any participating Tesco stores* to return your bottle. Download the Loop Deposit app to place your return.
3. RECEIVE YOUR REFUND
When indicated on the app, place your bottle into the kiosk to receive your refundable deposit, or pick up a fresh bottle. Thank you for shopping sustainably!

“We see this partnership as the latest chapter in our sustainable sipping journey and to becoming recognised as a better gin for people and the planet. So when gin lovers are sipping a Sipsmith G&T, they will not only be enjoying a gin that has been meticulously hand crafted, but also one that is made by a team who take their wider responsibilities for the world seriously, too.” Sam Galsworthy, Sipsmith Co-Founder.
