Language of Flowers Gin

Our Language of Flowers Gin features White Chrysanthemum, Southern Wormwood, Mountain Ash, and Ox-eye Daisy, which respectively denote Verity, Constance, Prudence, and Patience—the names of our four gleaming copper pot stills.

Beginning with a base of classic London Dry Gin, we gently vapour-infused the blooms in a botanicals basket in lieu of macerating them—a technique which preserves their delicate, floral character. Our Language of Flowers Gin does beautifully in a violet-flavoured (and -hued) Aviation, or simply top with tonic for a delicately floral G&T.

More Product Information

Our Language of Flowers Gin is a bouquet in a bottle, abundant with floral perfume and fitting to toast with.

Spring is normally a time of celebration—the return of blossoms and warm and sunny days—and this year, it’s even more special. That’s because Sipsmith has just celebrated our 10th anniversary. We can hardly believe it’s been a full decade of ginful delight, cocktail making, and ginnovations like our Sipping Society, and we can’t wait to see what the next 10 years will bring. To mark the occasion and the season, our Language of Flowers Gin is a bouquet in a bottle, abundant with floral perfume and fitting to toast with.

Language of Flowers Gin – 40.7% ABV

For the Victorians, there was a language in the flowers. Floriography—a form of communication via bouquet—is something of a lost art these days, but given the bounty of blossoms springing up around London, we decided it was the ideal moment to revive the practice in liquid form.

The Nose: A bouquet of fresh spring flowers, mingled with spicy pink peppercorn
The Palate: Peppery, bright with citrus and a touch of violet
The Finish: Dry and herbaceous, a subtle hint of lavender amidst the pine

  2. Taste pretty good on the Bouquet Aviation, I might enjoy the rest if it on ice.
