Venturing into ye olde sweet shoppe of decades past, you will be sure to find the quintessential hard-boiled sherbet lemon, adorning the shelves. Our talented distillers looked to this classic sweet, and created a tantalising and tangy Lemon Sherbet Gin, full of the zing from those beautiful yellow lemons.

Could there be a more charmingly nostalgic sight, than that of tall glass jars of sweets, sitting behind a shop counter? Or a striped paper bag, filled to the brim with sweets of all shapes and sizes? We doubt it. The sherbet lemon, one of the most popular sweets of old, is the perfect combination of boiled candy and tangy sherbet – a family favourite, and the inspiration behind our Lemon Sherbet Gin.

In this ode to the classic sweet, our Distillers added lemon myrtle, lavender and yuzu to the still along with some of the more classic botanicals such as juniper, coriander and orris. To achieve the refreshing zing desired, lemon and lime peel was added to the vapour chamber.

Rediscover the zesty sweet by pouring 50ml Lemon Sherbet Gin into a highball glass filled with ice. Top with Mediterranean tonic water and a lemon twist to garnish.

Tasting Notes:
The Nose: A bright, tangy nose, with light floral undertones.

The Palate: Smooth, zesty and refreshing on the palate.

The Finish: A gentle lavender finish.

The Lemon Highball
Ginger ale transports this age-old sweet into a long, refreshing serve.

35ml Lemon Sherbet Gin
15ml dry vermouth
20ml lemon juice
10ml sugar syrup
Ginger ale, to top up
Fresh mint, to garnish

Add the Lemon Sherbet Gin, dry vermouth, lemon juice and sugar syrup to an ice filled highball. Top with ginger ale and garnish with a sprig of fresh mint.

Give this classic serve a zesty twist with our Lemon Sherbet Gin

50ml Lemon Sherbet Gin
20ml dry vermouth
2 dashes Angostura bitters
Fresh lemon twist, to garnish

Combine your Lemon Sherbet Gin, dry vermouth and Angostura bitters in a mixing glass and stir down with ice. Strain into a chilled coupe glass, with a fresh lemon twist to garnish.
