SLOE ROYALE
A British take on the classic Kir Royale using our Sloe Gin, this classic Sloe Gin cocktail is a sure-fire winner at any cocktail party.
- 4 parts prosecco or Champagne
- 3/4 part Sipsmith® Sloe Gin
- lemon twist, to garnish
To craft your own, simply add the gin to a chilled flute and top with prosecco or Champagne. Garnish with a lemon twist.
SLOE GIN SPRITZ
Who said Sloe Gin was reserved for winter sipping? Certainly not us. Next time the sun shines, pop open the prosecco (or Champagne if you’re feeling particularly decadent) and craft this delightful summer tipple.
- 2 parts Sipsmith Sloe Gin
- 1/2 part Port
- 3 parts lemonade
- 3 parts prosecco
- Lemon twist and a blackberry (to garnish)
Add the first three ingredients into an ice filled wine glass. Top with prosecco and gently stir. Garnish with a lemon twist and a blackberry. Best sipped al fresco!
SLOE GIN FIZZ
For classic cocktail enthusiasts, the Sloe Gin Fizz is autumnal perfection.
One of the most popular classic sloe gin cocktails, the Sloe Gin Fizz serves up autumnal flavours and a celebratory amount of bubbles.
- 2 parts Sipsmith® Sloe Gin
- 1 part lemon juice
- 1 egg white
- 3/4 part simple syrup (find out how to make your own here)
- Champagne, to top
Combine the Sloe Gin, lemon juice, egg white, and simple syrup in a cocktail shaker and dry shake (without ice). Open the shaker, fill with ice, and shake again (wet shake). Strain into a sherry glass or small highball. Top up with Champagne, or until the height of the froth is roughly equivalent to half of the drink’s volume. Sip and enjoy!
THE CHARLIE CHAPLIN
Indulge in some old Hollywood glamour, courtesy of this 1920s serve.
First created in New York’s Waldorf-Astoria around 1920, and named in honor of the silent movie star, The Charlie Chaplin is a classic Sloe Gin cocktail recipe that’s a perfect fit for every season.
- 1 1/2 part Sipsmith® Sloe Gin
- 1 part lime juice, freshly squeezed
- 3/4 part apricot brandy
- 1/4 part sugar syrup
- orange twist, to garnish
Add all ingredients to an ice-filled cocktail shaker, and shake well. Strain into a chilled coupette, and garnish with an orange twist.
