Pink gin has never been more popular—and there are plenty of ways to shake up your own rosy-hued cocktails at home. Here are five creative (and delightfully pink) cocktail recipes to try at home.

While today’s pink gin infatuation may be fueled by Instagram, all you have to do is browse through the history of pink gin to discover that sippers have been enjoying rosy serves for centuries. From beloved classic cocktails to contemporary innovations, we’ve picked five of our favourite pink cocktail recipes to celebrate the current craze.

THE PINK SIP

Fancy a playful twist on a G&T? With its rich, plummy hue, The Pink Sip combines Sipsmith® Sloe Gin & lemon yonic is an irresistible pink cocktail.

CLOVER CLUB

Taken straight from the gin history archives, The Clover Club is proof that pink gin has been popular for quite some time. After all, this sweet and berry-bright cocktail was invented prior to Prohibition.

  • 2 1/2 parts Sipsmith London Dry Gin
  • 1/2 part freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1/3 part grenadine or raspberry syrup
  • 1/2 part sweet vermouth
  • Handful of fresh raspberries
  • 1 egg white or vegan alternative
  • Raspberry, to garnish

Add all ingredients, except the garnish, to an empty cocktail shaker. Seal and dry shake (without ice), until the egg white is emulsified and the berries have been pulverized. Open the shaker, fill with ice, and shake again until ice cold. Strain into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a raspberry.

SLOE ROYALE

Sloe Royale

Have an occasion to celebrate? Think pink with a beautiful and festive Sloe Royale. A simple mix of Sloe Gin and Champagne, this fizzy serve was made for toasting.

Add the gin to a chilled flute, and top up with Champagne. Toast with enthusiasm.

SLOE GIN SPRITZ

  • 3 parts prosecco
  • Lemon twist and a blackberry (to garnish)

Add the Sloe Gin and port to an ice-filled wine glass. Top with lemonade and prosecco and stir gently with a drinks stirrer to combine. Garnish with a lemon twist and a blackberry. Best sipped al fresco.

SANTA’S LITTLE HELPER

One to save for the holidays, this decadent pink cocktail is one best sipped during the chilly nights. Fruit-forward Sloe Gin is amped up with warming V.J.O.P. Gin to help see you through those winter nights.
