London Flip
According to the Oxford English Dictionary the term 'Flip' was first used in 1695 to describe a mixture of beer, rum, and sugar, heated with a red-hot iron. The heat gave the concoction a frothy top and the name stuck. Luckily, the ingredients are much more refined nowadays and Sipsmith London Cup makes a perfect addition.
